Duties

 

· Set up, monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.

· Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients to assess risk.

· Liaise directly with customers regarding outstanding invoices, resolving any queries or disputes efficiently.

· Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to credit control.

· Issue any late payment correspondence required and liaise with any external collection agencies.

· Implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce overdue debts.

· Raising and sending customer invoices

· Management of sales commissions

· Posting and reconciliation for accounts payable

Polish Speaking Financial Analyst

Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Glasgow to hire a Polish Speaking Financial Analyst on a permanent basis.

This is a critical role which will support and work with the Head of Accounting and the Management Accountants in ensuring that key deliverables are achieved.

Namely, the timely completion of month-end and year-end procedures and assisting with maintaining accurate financial records throughout the year.

Duties:

·       Collect, validate and load sales data files on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for European operations

·       Validate incoming data quality and work with the business users and IT support teams to correct issues

·       Testing and onboarding new customers for sales collection

·       Monitoring stock for inbound sales files & adding stock where required

·       Assisting the Management Accountants with their month-end review and helping collate revenue accruals, resolving any revenue queries with the Accounts receivable team.

·       Assisting the Management Accountants with performing month-end and quarter-end balance sheet reconciliations for all relevant accounts and providing detailed explanations for any variances.

·       Providing ad-hoc support on relevant project work and other deliverables

·       Assisting with software upgrade testing on relevant systems

Duties:

 

  • Preparing and raising sales invoices/credit notes
  • Uploading invoices to portals as well as emailing to clients
  • Managing Accounts Payable invoices including supplier statement reconciliations
  • Posting of purchase invoices to accounting system to complete supplier statement reconciliations
  • Weekly bank reconciliation for all bank accounts
  • Cash posting of sundry payments
  • Company credit card reconciliation and posting of monthly journal
  • Reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts on a periodic basis
  • Assisting the finance team where necessary

Duties:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Managing AP / supplier payments
  • Payroll (weekly and monthly)
  • Oversee AR (including invoicing and Credit Control)
  • Monthly journals and month – end processes
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with quarterly VAT preparation
  • Start to finish Payroll
  • Supporting the annual preparation of budgets, financial forecasts and the audit process.
